I am a bit worried about the compatibility of the new-er sony DAPs. It appears that the audio out is only available for these models.

DCC-NWC1 | Car Connecting Cable | Sony | SonyStyle USA

Be sure to click on the COMPATIBILITY tab in the link above to see the various models.

There are so many different Sony models and I would never be able to confirm if the cable would work with all of them I am guessing since the newer models are using a blue tooth that a analog line out would not be available.

Anyhow it would have been nice if the cable would also work for the newer Sony DAPs.

Since I gave my Sony DAP a while ago I would need to buy one in order to attempt to get this line out cable working. I will report back.

No sorry,

I am in the process of moving my shop to a better space, so will be out of pocket of sorts for a while.

Would someone be willing to loan me a Sony DAP? I would be good to try a few different types.

My ship to address is the same

Can you make a low profile one?

I would rather not have to drill holds in the side of the connector, but I guess I can figure something out.

Thx

Perfect, I'll get one. Any indications of its price range and when it'll be available will be welcomed. Thanks
