Is this the same configuration as the CA Andromeda's?

I never did have the right fit with the k3003 and sounded sibilant to me.
Hopefully on this one will make it right

Same experience with the old K3003 although K3003i is supposed to be a tad warmer.
I'm confident this one should be better, 1+4 hybrid configurations usually yield VERY nice results (Fidue Sirius, UM Merlin v2...) that I didn't get when using 4-8 BA-based IEMs.
Dynamic drivers remain my personal preference for bass, while mids need at least 2BA to be detailed and clear.

it should be. I can't recall if this have the same price when the k3003 was launched.
I was fortunate to use a lot of high end multi BA iems but still went back to my sony ex1000 DD because I also still prefer it for bass until I heard the ue 18+.
Looking forward and positive to these.

K3003 was 1200$ when released.
The lowest I can find them is $699 on amazon which is still too much for me to spend on a iem from 2012. Do you by chance have a link to where they were $500? I know you said akg web page but they’re actually $999 still thereWow I want one for sure! I wondered why AKG had the k3003i on it's Webb page for 499. I love my 3003i and n40.

I'm intrigued by their fair price along with certianly good looks
Curious how those will sound like

The general attitude of the N5005 should be "daddy's back to reclaim his (hybrid) throne".
