I wanna ask if ak100 perfroms well without AMP on my 1964v3. and i want to buy x1 which is a headphone of Philips.
I mainly listen pop and rock. I would appreciate it

I'm not going to pretend to be as savvy when it comes to this kind of thing (mostly as I've got little interest in amps etc) so someone else will hopefully give you a more in-depth answer.
 
My understanding of the AK100 is that you'd only need an amp if your earphones are balanced armature since it doesn't have enough output power to drive them fully.
 
We sell these at my work and, going on my ears, unless you're trying to drive massive headphones I really don't see why you'd need a headphone amp.
