OK great! And how does it plays with complicated songs (different elements at once )?
They do great with prog rock/metal which can definitely be complex. Good separation.

I like it!
Honestly I don’t care what they are called. I’ve heard people in YouTube videos pronounce it a few different ways.

It’s still better than Schitt audio. The amp/DAC company.

So colorful:

How the p8 doing in Jazz and classical music?
Is it considered musical and fits different genres?
I love P8 for classical. Just large orchestral pieces in general, like this one:

I also like to listen baroque concerti with P8. It’s a fun game trying to recognise and follow all the instruments, and the P8 makes it easier to do so.

Only when I listen to something unabashedly bassy like despacito when I want more bass. In those cases, I’ll use my U12t or more likely my Meteor.

AFUL does not mention driver brands, so it’s likely some sorts of Bellsing BA.

Liked! Your video has more production value and personality now. I laughed at that “dive right in”.

You are totally right about the monitor tuning as well. Not Harman-like or Moondrop’s DF “monitor”, but more like 64 audio kind of monitor. Mostly flat with only about 5dB delta around the average. I’m reviewing a coloured set called VE Phonix at the moment, and yeah, the colouring makes Phonix more “musical” than both P8 and U12t. It’s good to have both types in collection, IMHO.

Looking forward for whatever AFUL can do with the upcoming P14. They still need a bit more work to entirely stay in the rank of super top tier IEMs like these VE Phonix. I’m kind of unhappy with the soundstage depth after spending too much time with the Phonix, and then come back to the P8. Luckily, the detail retrieval is at most half step behind.

The red and blue tips are the same size. Red for right side and blue for left. For me those sound the best, but the P8 comes only with s size from those, if they fit you, your are lucky.
