Got that itch again, i've loved every minute of the Denon D7000's and currently loving the planar magnetic hifimans, but down the line when i inevitably get bored, where shall i go to next?

Was thinking Stax SR-007 but that's alot of money to save up, looks to be about £3,500 in the UK complete with energizer.

could probably have them in 18 months i reckon.

any other suggestions?

Audeze LCD 2 Rev 2s? Outstanding headphones. Or if you want to get into stax, the sr-307/407/507 lambdas are good entry points, then you can start saving for a 009

Was trying to swap my D7000's for some LCD-2's but had no takers, in the end swapped for the hifimans, LCD-2's are deffinately still on my radar, just got to get around to saving up for them.

Money burns a hole in my pocket too easy.

Certainly LCD-2. And then, buy a nice AMP, and then a DAC, and then you can upgrade your source. And then, possibly start listening to some music!
