My first studio gig in NYC was being the receptionist when that guy and crew walked in! They treated me like a policeman or the babysitter until they heard me riffing at my desk.
After that, they stopped me in the street and would tell their friends what a good keyboardist I was. I still run into Cashbox on occasion.
Here's how they made me answer the phone: "Zulu Nation!"
