Hello head-fi forums,
I'm new at the forums and from looking at the grammer you could spot that English isn't my primary language.
So please excuse me grammer Nazi's

.

Unfortunately my trusted portables(akg k518le 's ) broke last week. The where only a few problems with the akg k518,
the minor discomfort and that the cable was fixed/ not sturdy.

So i decided to look for a new pair of portables with the following properties:
-Replaceable cable
-on-ear portables
-comfort level above akg 518's (not hard)
-nice bass and punch as the akg 518
-pricing around 90 euros ( say 90 dollar )

All together an improvement over the akg 518.

A minor inconvenience:
I'm from Netherlands, Europe so the pricing may be off, some brands aren't available or are hard to get.

Currently I'm looking at these headphones:

-JBL j55
http://www.jbl.com/estore/jbl/us/products/J55/J55_JBL_US

I couldn't find much reviews about these so I'm not shure about the build quality ect.

-pioneer hdj-500
http://www.pioneerdjusa.com/gear.aspx?product=HDJ-500

I've looked for the sennheiser hd 25-II , but those are way above my budget.

ps.
I also own a CAL! and I like these headphones as well, but aren't going to cut it when traveling with public transport.
