…I've said it around here many times before…Paul's Boutique is one of my favorite albums ever. It's flawless. Man, does this news suck…

I never really liked the Beastie Boys music, but I'm sorry that a creative young man died too soon. I passed within a couple of feet of him on a street in SoHo a few years ago, and a friend I was with said, "hey that was the Beastie Boys." Rest in peace, man...

I recall listening to beastie boys all the time in the 90s. Heard about the news on the day and started listening to their classics all over again. RIP.

Been in a pretty somber mood all weekend...
 
I wasn't a huge fan, but they had their moments, and classics.
 
It's sad.
