Hi, I'm using the ath-ad900x for over a year with Realtek ALC1150 (Asrock B85 Killer Mobo). So I was thinking if I could improve sound quality by using the Hifimediy Sabre 9018 DAC or if I will be better off with another DAC. Music is my prioroty.

I haven't tried that combo, but I know that the HIFIMEDIY DAC uses the superb 9018K2M Sabre DAC which has a good SNR and killer low distortion, AD900X is also a very good headphone primarily known for its wide and accurate soundstage.
