At moderate volume level...

Does that damage your headphone's drivers?

How fragile do you guys think the drivers are

it's not ideal, but no, it shouldn't damage your drivers. It's been known to though.

On most store-bought amps that have output safety circuits, you're really probably not going to hurt anything.

Many higher performance custom amps can be damaged by this though, as a TRS plug momentarily shorts channels as it is removed/inserted.

yeah, this is true. Although he was originally asking about damaging your HP's drivers. A lot of times people forget or don't know that the greater risk is damaging the amp, not the HP.

I guess it's bc people don't hear popping sound comes from their amp like their phone lol.

But I don't really care if my amp is damaged. It cost 1/4 the price of my phone
