I'm currently pre-med and I'll be going into my 2nd year, I didn't do any volunteer work last year but I intend to jump right into it as soon as I get to school this year... did I wait too long? I've heard that what you do outside the class room is just as important as what you do inside if not more important because it is used to write all your personal statements, get letters and really decide if medicine is the right path.
