hi,
ii've been looking for a good dvd-audio source, when a thought suddenly entered my mind. if a pair a Bel Canto DAC2 with philips 963a, would i be able to listen to dvd-a on the philips in it's full resolution? thanks for any help on the matter.

The 963sa is a DVD-V, CD, SACD player and is not DVD-A compatible.

DVD-Audio is only played in full resolution via a player's analoge outputs so the DAC2 will NOT help in anything but redbook performance on ANY player.
