I got a parcel from Jan Meier in Germany today:

Inside was a white Sennheiser box:

The packaging inside that is a nice wooden case:

And inside that, the ultimate headphone...what the f?????...

I knew I shouldn't have shown those to Stevieo. Luckily, anticipation is everything. We'll see how far he got without his distributor cap.

The initial sound of these out of the Stax SRM-007t is superb. More sonic impressions after a bit of burn-in. Even in just two hours, the sound is getting stronger. This is a truly impressive headphone.

i listened to them tonight & they are worth every penny & more. the new production is aboslutely glorious. the stax 007t amp was a very impressive match this evening hooked up to the cdp with balanced xlr ic's.

Anyone else email Jan Meier and ask if any more become available to put them on the list? These might put an end to the upgrade bug?
