User reviews are already starting to appear on erji.net, here's one with photos: http://bbs.erji.com/read.php?tid=1342744&fpage=1&toread=&page=1

Good reviews?  I can only read the site using Google translate (and it sucks).  If you can read the reviews, can you provide a "gist" of what they are saying?

Thanks!

Looks like they are saying there's a slight treble roll-off, but the highs and vocals are very nice, and there's practically no back round noise. A couple of them are having compatibility issues with some micro SD cards My sandisk works just fine. The comments are mostly positive.

Thanks for the information!  I'm pretty familiar with the Wolfson 8740 and AD8397 sound, my Practical devices X6 has them.  Not a bad sound overall for portable use (I'll use it on trips), but at home my intent is to use it as a source for an external DAC and Amp.  Was there any mention of gapless or seamless transition between songs?

Cheers!

Here's a link, the UI is not the prettiest, but it's stable and it works. I just received a pair of Heiraudio 3ai's, and they didn't pair with the player well unfortunately. Too much gain and highs for an already bright Iem, even with the eq off. Switching the gain to low helps, but there's still sibilance. This is not a problem my other headphones.

Try Taobao, here's the link: http://search8.taobao.com/search?q=Ihifi&commend=all&ssid=s5-e&pid=mm_14507416_2297358_8935934
The 960 is getting a lot of praise on Erji.net, I can't wait to read your initial impressions. I had my 812V2 for about three months now, and the highs are a bit tamer.

Thanks for helping, retrophonic!  Even though I have "HK" in my name and signature, it has nothing to do with the city of Hong Kong.

Cheers!
