It would be nice to hook them up into a 6-Disc "manual" CD Changer... lol!

Well, if I take a picture of my two D-777s, then use photoshop to copy them twice, I'd have a stack of 6 D-777s..

Just curious vwap, what made you keep the D777, but sell on the D311?

the D-311 had no skip protection, plus it was NIB. I didn't feel like cracking it out of the box, so it would have just sat there, regardless of how good it was.

I really needed something that had skip protection, as it's used strictly portably. I didn't need anything else that just sits on my desk, as I've already got my home system.

So the D-777 won, as it's got the 10-sec skip AND good sound
