What does this number really mean?

it's a combination of SM2.0 score, HDR/SM3.0 score and CPU score, basically the 3dmark06 runs demo games on your computer then record number of frames per second to get the above scores, it is a measure of how fast your graphic system is.

That's some serious overclocking. I need to learn how to do that

Well it basically means that the recordholder has a really small penis and tries desperately to compensate for it in other areas...

I was about to download 3dmark onto my laptop for a comparison but 580mb over my crappy broadband connection will take a few weeks. Will have to wait until I get back from my holiday.

thats some insane overclocking, but as good as it is, i almost discount anything using LN2, simply because thats a one shot deal, no one is gonna run that full time, and he certainly won't be using that system at those clock speeds on a day to day basis, but dear god, 4.9xx ghz quad core? nearly a 100% overclock, cheating in my book, yes, but impressive none the less

now i'd like to see what he could get done with one of those vapochill units, thats something i'd really give more credit to, being that he could/would use that on a daily basis at whatever clock speed he could get to

and for once, i'd really like to see one of these guys pony up the 10x cost increase to give liquid helium a shot (LN2 is -196C, helium is -268.8C) it'd be interesting just to see how much more you could get out of it, if anything

He had the hardware WAY before it came out. There is even an nvidia commercial with him in it and all the new hardware.
