Would the schiit m&m stack be a upgrade from the fiio e7+e9?

Yes. Very much so. Although, may want to get the O2/ODAC as its portable also.

Well I'll be keeping the e7 so portability won't be a issue. Would the o2/ODAC have better sound then the Schiit or is it not worth the extra 80 dollars

Not worth it, I got O2 for portability. TMRaven wrote that they sounded pretty much the same. (Schiit M&M and the O2/ODAC)

Saving 80 bucks.. That's some good schiit , anyways I think I will be getting the m&m stack along with new cans since my budget has been raised somewhat. What would be a good companion to my AKG K702 and Denon d5000s that's under 300?

I heard great reviews on them. However I'm a bit skeptical paying nearly triple the price for just mods. Is it worth it?

Oh my god, yes.
