Does Glen have health problems or something? I mean if that were the case then your point is taken.Or sad...
Some insider could answer that better than me.Does Glen have health problems or something? I mean if that were the case then your point is taken.

Picked up a Raytheon RK33, which is essentially the equivalent of the RCA and Ken-Rad 1642 / 2C21 / 38233, but with a ceramic base, as pictured above. Sounds good!
Ooof. I had planned to send mine to him for repair, but I didn't hear back. I have one channel that fades as it warms up.
Looking good! I have a 1641 I wanted to try swapping in for the 596 I have in mine.
Have you tried a local repair shop? A lot of repair shops don't like to work on custom amps, but Glenn built his amps very well, so it might be worth a try.Ooof. I had planned to send mine to him for repair, but I didn't hear back. I have one channel that fades as it warms up.
I have not. I thought about popping it open to look for a weak solder joint. I planned to dump it on the EEs at the office and let them take a look too.Have you tried a local repair shop? I don't recall what version I have. I'll have to look. The 1641 works fine in Glenn's OTL. And I can't detect any difference between the Raytheon and the General Electronics version.
