Still we on VSD2/2S & AN16 fever.....takes time,patience is the mantra.

Vsonic always give us enough breathing time (months) to save money for their next release.....

Maybe not for folks who think VSD2 / 2S are somehow bright...



I find this EQ opens them up immensely. The important part is the big scoop at 150Hz to remove mid-bass bloat. The rest is just tuning the mids and upper end, but man does that mid-bass need some work :eek:

It does come across as lowpassed in some way, hihats and cymbals in particular are quite far away and not very present. Definitely not treble-centric in sound.

Agreed, they actually remind me a lot of the NarMoo W1M in that way, but with less prominent sub-bass. I'll have to see if I have any really wide bore tips that would fit the AN16....might help.

 Hmm, exactly, highs are a bit on the low side, but look at the bright side, mids are better, sadly yes it does feels lacking.

Walked into my living room yesterday. My 2yo boy had unzipped the BrainWavz case I was using to store AN16 and VSD2S, stripped of all tips, was chewing on the tips, and was about to pop one of the VSD2S housings into his mouth :eek:

Worse than having a puppy!

Hey keep those things away from the boy, I know you cant buy another AN16 but the boy is more precious, he could have chocked on those tips.

I know! The case was at the bottom of my go-bag. Didn't think he'd find the case much less be able to open the zipper. Smart (and coordinated) little sucker!

And luckily, I just renewed my 1st Aid / CPR certification. And also luckily, I didn't need it!!!
