So, after lurking for a while on these forums I think i have settled on a possible desktop setup to pair with my HD650.
 
I'm thinking about getting Schiit Bifrost USB Uber DAC with a Bottlehead Crack + Speedball upgraded amp.
 
My question is, is there a better setup under 1k that I should be considering?
 
I'll be playing music from my macbook laptop either via audirvana or streaming from spotify.  Mostly listen to rock, electronic and jazz.

I've heard good things about the pairing with the Bottlehead crack. How about WA7 Fireflies? It's 999$ I think

The WA7 was another one I was considering but I think I read somewhere that the DAC in it wasnt that grea, at least compared to a standalone DAC.  Plus the Bifrost adds the possibility of future updates.  Didn't find a comparison on the forums of both setups though,
