I have a single source (DAC) and want to run it into a preamp/power amp and into a separate, dedicated headphone amp.
Only problem is that there is only one non-variable output on the DAC.
If I use a 1 male to 2 rca female splitter, will this;
(a) degrade sound quality in any way
(b) lower the output power of the DAC
Note that i’ll only ever be using the headphone amp and pre/power amp independently of one another, so only one of the “split” outputs will ever be in use at a given time.
If this is all OK, what is a good quality splitter jack?
