Hmm, well my UE900 cable I got for my H3 did not work with the OPO at all.The buttons and microphone didn't work. In all fairness the cable was designed for iOS devices, but at the same time it worked fine (at least the middle button and mic) with my Nexus devices just fine. The single button/mic on the Sony cable made for the H3 cable works fine though.

The middle button and mic on inline remotes designed for iOS devices work fine on every other Android phone that supports an inline remote. The OnePlus One is actually not compatible with CTIA standard headsets, so I'm guessing the ones that do work don't have a polarized microphone.
 
Do you have any headsets that have volume buttons on the inline remote that work on Android? Currently I have three; the one from the headset bundled with the Galaxy S3/Note 2, one from the headset bundled with the Galaxy S4/S5/Note 2, and a pair of Samsung Level On that has an inline remote designed for use with a Samsung phone.
 
All buttons and mic on the S3/Note 2 one works on the OPO, but the remote on the S4/S5/Note 3 and Level On are weird; volume buttons work, but the middle/play/pause button sends a "volume up" signal to the OPO instead. I'm not sure if the mic works on those.
