Any of you Stax peeps wanna weigh in on this system? Is it any good? I know nothing about Stax

Ehhh I'd stay away from them to be honest, the 404LE is most likely just a normal 404 with better binned drivers and the leather earpads. I think you're paying too much of a premium for what really isn't an upgrade over the 407/507. Personally, I'd just spring for the 407 and slap on the leather earpads if you were looking to spend around that mark. The Stax 323S is a superb amp for the money, you might be able to get the 407/323 for the same money.
 
The amp is basically a poor mans DIY electrostatic project started by Cavalli. It's not very good and performs worse than Stax amps, I'll leave it at that.
 
The build quality on that particular amp is atrocious, it has pathetic grounding and I (along with any testing house/electrical standards) would deem it electrically unsafe, not exactly what you want for a high voltage amplifier eh? I can't grill the builder too much though, the exstata was meant to be a beginner project and well... what can you expect? =P

My first bit o real hentai was vampire related. I was with a buddy of mine he introduced it to me... it made my stomach turn and I... well it wasn't my cup of tea at all,  
There fore Vampire anime just recalls images of that and... well I'd rather not have to think about that again. It wasn't my cup tea. It was like a Vampire demon thing, and either way no vampires... period.

Yea see Daughters of Mnemosyne didn't Bother me, :/ but it wasn't really an Ecchi, just kinda dark and... sexual. Anyways Elfen Lied is too gorey and I have no idea how I managed to get  through all of Dead Man Wonderland...

Like I said, I don't know anything about Stax but I've always been curious of stats. I think a 007 might be ideal just due to how people describe it as nonfatiguing yet transparent. I do remember James444 telling me that when he got to demo some Lambdas vs the 007/009, he felt that the "lower end" models were very close to the flagships. I'll probably have to research some of the Stax cans a bit more. I see various Lambda lookalikes from time to time on the FS but I honestly no idea what they even sound like. I guess I'm only curious since I really enjoy the UERM which has been described as sounding like an electrostat

That's probably for the better, especially since the very thought of things like vampires gives you the heebie-jeebies.

 
Elfen Lied is probably one of the top ten most violent and gory things ever shown on television. Even the opening scene is ultra-gory. Adult Swim refused to air it.
 
It's a fairly deep show, though; not just mindless violence.
 

Elfen Lied is one of the most emotional and psychological animes ever made and is likely to make many viewers cry, it's not for people experiencing depression.
