Ah, thanks. Since the article/tour was about headphones one would figure the discussion would be in the headphones section.

And what did you find? A self-aggrandizing commercial for Sennheiser's latest ear-fitted boom box, without a single iota of substance in the whole thread. It was more like a religious service for true believers, as are many of the posts over there.

Don't ever buy a headphone without listening to it unless you are ready and willing and able to lose about half your money (resale value) quickly. And if you are thinking about buying high-end headphones, you better have a source and amp that can make them sound better than a $150 pair of cans, which they surely will unless you have gear equal to the task.
