I would love to be included on the Echbox Explorer tour. I just finished the FiiO x5iii review, and I am also coming off the excellent Cayin i5 review tour. Excellent points of reference, along with my incoming Shanling M5. Thank you for the potential opportunity!

WHY YOU WANT TO REVIEW THE EXPLORER? Well, I love the fact that this is related to IndiGoGo, a wonderful down to earth related start up. What's not to love about grassroots organizations! And, running one of the latest Android OS systems, the possibilities are as current as it gets when we discuss applications, and the ability to function as a music machine AND a device which can be used for surfing, work, email, and of course perusing the latest of Head-Fi!

Comparing the Explorer to the i5, x5iii and the M5 would be an ideal set up. A true test of those mid-fi's against an up and coming DAP. What's not to like in an indepth comparo?

The killer option to me? The Explorer looks like what one might keep his or her favorite single malt in (Aberlour A'Bund'H, personally), which can confuse people mightily! What's not to love about a device that looks like a fine wooden Scotch flask?

Thank you for this tremendous opportunity, and best of luck to all!

I'd love to do a review.

Located in Ulyanovsk, Russia.

A beginner who has reviewed Shozy Zero and Meze 11 IEMs by this time (more are in progress). But, I can write in two languages and can also publish a Russian version.

My DAP experience is also not on an expert level (iBasso DX50, Hidizs AP100), so it would be cool to make some progress and do a comparison. And, also, I have never used streaming services on audiophile-grade portable devices and would love to share an experience.

REVIEW RESUME: Until now I have only reviewed products in Danish posted on the "hoved-fi.dk" website. Those reviews include Custom Arts Harmony 8.2, Meze Classic 99 and an OEM similar to MSUR N550.

WHY YOU WANT TO REVIEW THE EXPLORER? Saw Echobox at CanJam London this summer and have been thinking about buying once since. Streaming is important to me and I use Tidal every day. The design of the explorer is also stunning, I bet it looks amazing paired with CIEM´s with wood faceplates. So it seems very interesting to me and could be a suitable replacement or compliment to my Mini-M8. I often use IEM´s and also build my own ones from time to time. I also have a pair of Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd Gen that I would love to pair with The Explorer.

WHY YOU WANT TO REVIEW THE EXPLORER? .... Heard it at the Canjam London show 2016 originally and was intrigued by it's unique ergonomically friendly  design and sound but didn't get to listen to it enough at the time and now this one I believe is further improved I am of course even more intrigued about this player and I generally just love daps with a passion for last 30 years since my early years with cassette Walkmans to Discman's & Minidisc players to HDD to SDD players we have today!

Why you want to review the Explorer:

I heard about it, checked it on your site and figured I'd love to go on a review exploration and drink music out of it (does the shape remind you of anything dear? I have to say it's a beautiful very functional art piece.

REVIEW RESUME: Have roughly 40 reviews here on head-fi (several being featured) as well as a YouTube channel (youtube.com/c/xarmyfiredawgx)

WHY YOU WANT TO REVIEW THE EXPLORER? (We actually do really really want to know!): DAPs have been a really hot topic I've been asked my viewers amd subscribers of mine alike. The Explorer not only looks visually stunning, its specs seem impressive as well. I would like to listen to and compare it with the other DAPs I've reviewed and also provide more information for those who view my channel so that they've another potential option to consider in the very competitive DAP market.

EDIT: I also agree with and accept the terms and conditions set forth for the tour.

Also, to be transparent up front. If I've the honor of being selected as a participant I would politely rewuest to he placed towards the end of the tour period. The reason is that the fire academy takes quite a good bit of my time and have more availability towards the end (end of May). I am still availavle to be a reviewer of course hense my adding my application.

Thank you for not just taking the time to review my application but also setting up the tour and allowing us the opportunity to test a new product.

I've just had to remove a bunch of posts - because it was taking things off track.  This is a call for reviewers by Echobox, not a place to comment on how they may do business.  Lets keep it on topic - OK?
