After Fw 1.1.2 im getting a "stroge unexpectedly removed" notification ever so often @FiiO

Sorry, I meant to pair these with HD650. Somehow I missed HD650. I heard Mojo doesn't have enough power to bring the best out of the HD650s. I hope iDSD is good enough as it has enough power in Turbo mode.

Fiio, Add my name to the list of victims of update 1.1.2. In my case one of my two MicoSD cards vanished. After a lot of trial and error I found that these cards can be mounted and unmounted. I had to unmount both before the X5iii would see both again. I did not request this unmount behavior, it just happened.

Also, when I opened the X5 packaging I was sad to discover the factory had mounted the screen protector on the back of the clear case and not the screen. How do I get another screen protector and why don't you ship extras like you used to? (Or did I miss it in the very nice box?)

Isn't there any possibility to downgrade the fw: 1.1.2 back to 1.1.1 :rolleyes:

It's long time waiting here in the Nederlands to receive the x5iii, i preorder it a month ago.
But still nothing receive :mad:

The plastic clear case had the back protector on it? Or, the tempered glass screen protector was mounted to the plastic clear case?

Mine has two screen protector factory installed
One on the screen (i think is a cristal glass protector, with the HD Audio sticker on it) and other on the back (i think is a plastic protector).

The thing you usually pull off the front screen was mounted to the back of the clear case. As far as I can tell there is nothing on the screen. So I would say the tempered glass screen protector was mounted to the back of the clear plastic case. I am tempted to pull it off and see if it can be attached to the screen but i have a doubt.

I can see the edge of the tempered glass screen protector on the back of the clear case very easily. I cannot detect a similar edge on the screen. I do not think a photo (that i might take) would illuminate you as you deserve.

I never tried it with the HD650, but the BL has plenty juice, so I don't think it should be a problem, even without turbo. Check out the reviews here on head-fi

So you don't have a slight bevel on the screen like in this pic?

If the clear plastic case is not flexible then somebody goofed and really did apply the tempered glass to the back of the protective case. I'd march that device right back to where you purchased it and get a replacement if that is what happened.

Curiously, FW 1.1.2 has been a huge improvement for me. Fewer crashes, TuneIn Pro now works, I don't have issues with the screen not registering touches like I used to. I didn't have 1.1.1 for long, but I don't think there is any real degradation in responsiveness - especially as on 1.1.1 the screen would sometimes stop registering touches (but only in the bottom half).

FW1.1.1 was nearly unusable for me until I did a "Factory Data Reset" (I considered returning the device for a while). After that it was still not great, but I could tolerate it for the sound. Maybe a would help others with 1.1.2 problems?

The Firmware is the set of instructions for the device and they write that, that,... is under their control, no excuses, I want my unit to be optimized to do all that they claim without a single compromise.
Not a single compromise.
This is not a relationship it is a device I paid for.
I am not pleased with the new owner=beta tester thing that has become the default around here. It is ridiculous.
FiiO just announced a F.W. update that actually created a lag that never existed before. That is not cool I rec anyone reading this to stay on F.W. 1.1.1

I've pulled the zip file from dropbox for the new firmware - how do you install this? The link FiiO provided is for the X1-II update process...
