I thought I had some luck be able to acquire these pairs. Actually, I managed to wait for a whole year for such offer, and my plan was the vintage tubes first then the tube amp. I would go to the WA5 only if I got a nice pairs of vintage WE300B. Thats why I had my tubes 3 months ago in Aug 2016, and I ordered my WA5 in Nov 2016 for a discounted season offer from Woo.

My next trail is to remove all add-on enhancements, then plug in this WE300B/WE274A/TSRP tubes to the base setup WA5 for another 1-2 weeks about 20 hours impression, to explore the difference between the vintage and stock tubes.
After that, I would then load the add-on back and swap between the vintage and stock tubes again to learn the difference in impression.

Having another tube set prepared and ready for rolling, they are a matched pairs Svetlana Electron Devices (SED) 300B tubes from 1998 and 5U3C rectifiers.

So now I have three 300B power tubes - the stock Psvane, SED and WE; 6SN7 driver tubes - SYGTA, SYMB, TSRP; rectifiers - Psvane 5U4G, SED 5U3C and WE274A. As an initial exercise probably in the next 2-3 months time, my plan is to roll over all possible combinations (27 = 3 x 3 x 3) in additional to the three base sets of the stock all Psvane, all SED and all WE. I managed to experience all these tube character and difference between impression, and how WA5 would response to the change of tubes (my WA22 has a ratio of sensitivity at about Power

I created the Tube Register and Impression Register matrix to be completed after the tube rolling exercise. It may take sometime to get familar with the conventions, but it gives a systematic reference to my impression to tube character and the overall effect delivered.
