Could anyone compare IT03 vs FLC8s. Im about to buy one of them, so I would appreciate little comparison.

I don`t have the FLC8 anymore to give a real-time comparison, but they are incredibly good, just like the IT03 is incredibly good.

If I were you I`d get both.

Interesting and looking forward to your (@twister6
also mentioned some other cables in his IT03 review) impressions

All my upgrade cables are 2-pins, so I've always used the IT03 with its stock one. But because I was already highly impressed by the IT03s sound this way and because Paul wrote that iBasso had chosen (and I think even developed) this cable (that matches the IT03 so well) I never got tempted to pick up another MMCX cable so far.

Hello

A little impression of the cable swapping between Effect Audio Thor Copper and iT03 stock cable.

Been pairing the EA cable with the iT03 when i got these little beast on hand. Until some time I decided to swap back to the stock cable. Surprisingly, upon that I've been sticking to the stock cable, leaving my EA cable in dust and cobweb!

Please find my simple impression as a pinchbof salt as all this is based on my hearing.

Stock - every aspect of the sound is well balanced. Lows, mids, highs are well controlled and presented. But there are times the peaky highs is quite sharp and might hurt a bit though. Soundstage is adequate and is crispy clear.

EA Thor - warmish and it does tamed down the highs from this beast. Bass can go even deeper compared to the stock cable. Soundstage is superior but the crystal clear sound is a notch below the stock.

Upon experiencing this kinda shift of SQ from 2 superior cables, IMO, the stock cable does seems adequate to complement the iT03 without any need of getting a customised cable.

Hope my little impressions is helpful to all iT03 owners and soon-to-be owners. And apologies if any of my impressions offended anyone here.
Nevertheless, iT03 rocks!

I may have asked this before, but has anyone got both the IT03 and the Dunu D2002 to compare? I know the tuning is different on both from what I've read, so more interested in the overall sound of the D2002 in comparison, and comparative quality in things like detail/soundstage etc. Anyone got experience with both IEMs? Not heard any of the various Dunu models previously as I tend to steer away from "hot" tunings, but been reading some good stuff about the D2002s in that regard.

Any useful comparisons very gratefully accepted!

Not surprisingly - the iBasso DX200 and the iBasso IT03 have a wonderful synergy.

Very nice! Not keeping tabs on the other Ibasso threads at the moment - is the DX200 out in the wild yet, or is that a review sample?

The DX200 has been arriving at stores. We have been filling orders but now with the Chinese New Year we will be closed for 10 days. We will also have the DX200 back on our site after the holiday.

be careful folks, I bought mine on 12/1, took almost 2 weeks to arrive (ie I have only been using then for just over a month)-always carried in a case, literally pull it out of my ear while talking with a coworker, conversation is over, walk back to my desk and notice that the grille popped off somehow. It looks to be glued down (see pics) , so I have literally no idea where it went. I looked like a fool looking at the carpet, walking around my office looking for a circular grille,.

I pm'd the ibasso rep, and penon....I sure hope I can just get another one mailed out to me. Talk about bummer deal, I LOVE these iems :frowning2: :frowning2: :frowning2:

Love, love, LOVE mine in a quiet environment. But isolation is not as good as deeper fit IEMs, and so I'm still using my SE535s (plenty good enough!) for travel on the noisy Hong Kong trains and buses.
