We are working very hard on our CFA headphones, I want them to be awesome so have been fine tuning all aspects. I can say that sound wise we are very happy with the performance of the headphone and I think its going to go over very well. We also made some improvements on the comfort, cosmetic details and re made the headband. We are close! so stay tuned.
FYI Campfire and ALO will be skipping RMFA this year, sorry! We are very busy with the headphone, trying to catch up on orders and some other exciting stuff

I apologize for not being at this years RMAF. However I will be in full force at the CanJam NYC show.

Ken, you are working hard on more than just headphones
For some who missed the announcement, ALO Audio collaborated with Westone on their new release of W80 model enhanced with Ken's new Reference 8 hybrid (SPC + pure copper) cable. 8-conductor premium material design which is thinner than some of the other 4-conductor cables, and with a BIG sound (that bass!!!). I really hope this hybrid cable will be available for sale standalone, many people going to enjoy it!
Also, glad to hear you are gearing up for CanJam NYC, can't wait to meet you in person and also looking forward to check out other CA goodies!

I'm sure Ken's new Reference 8 hybrid (SPC + pure copper) cable sounds/pairs well with his iem line. I hope that if it is released as a standalone purchase option that it has aluminum and not black plastic pieces in it.

We are thrilled to be working with Westone on this, the ALO Ref 8 IEM cable is a perfect match with the new W80! Congratulation to the Westone team in the release of the W80 and for somehow cramming all the drivers into a ridiculously small envelop.
Yes we (ALO) will indeed be releasing the Ref 8 IEM cable as a stand alone cable and will come in MMCX as well as 2 pin (JH audio), then also terminated in 2.5mm balanced as well as 3.5mm SE versions. The ALO version will use a all clear over mold and a aluminum (silver) "Y" split part. I will post a thread with glam shots later this month.

Ooh, I crave a Ref 8 2.5mm MMCX balanced cable for my Campfire Audio IEMs to use with the Opus#1 dap and my Mini-M8 (with adapter).

I'll be there at canjam! Is there a two month wait on andromedas? I was hoping to order one when i visited the states later this month but looks like an impossibility if orders are that backed
