Yeeeeeh baby ! Just got my A3s. Out-of-the-box impressions...they fit ! I had an on-going issue with the A2s working their way out my ears, use smaller tips and that bass and decay seal was not there so I had to just bear it.

More out-of-the-head soundstage 4sure.
Those lovely, lovely decays still there...perfect for GLITCH which is one of my main music styles I love with all that crispy worbly decay FX stuff happening. Low-end most definitely there when it hits, more balanced. I think I will have to glue my ear-hooks into my coming cable as it seems to pop out just above the MMCX connector over the lobe. Initial sound impression negatives...none ! I'm treble sensitive and its all good. Going to try them with my old HRT microstreamer and A3 amp which are a killer combo (for the price) for IEMs BTW.
Thanks everyone putting out impressions and getting me RABID for these puppies.

What are those eartips?

Just some generic silicon off of Ali...different colors to get them lined up fast for listening in darker places.
I'm really surprised how great they are sounding straight out my ZenFone 2 laser phone...the a2 did not sound as good straight out the same phone vs a dac/amp set-up.

Layering more evident with A3, does tnot get smeared with complex parts of music....
I find I get the promise of PURO 500s marketing page with these, all the detail still there at lower volumes. Did not like the tone of PUROs or how hard they were to drive.

Not all of the old ones had connector issues but the rate of A3 with issues was high. I had an old cable and it worked just fine. I just found that a cable with memory wire support works much better with them as they keep them in place better.

Anyhow, still enjoying these beasts....

Yeah, I've seen those Tingo pop up recently as excellent tips. Good to know, will try them first.
Never knew they were included as I had them bookmarked on ali. :wink_face:

Tingo can be found on aliexpress and further back in this thread...my ones are not Tingo, I forgot the name and I deleted the order as well. Sorry bud.

Do you know what he means by rolling? is there a technique of inserting earphones into the ear that i don't know of?

Upgrade cable arrived.
It has an obvious Oyaide of Japan cloned right-angle plug that would cost more than the entire cable cost ($17).
The new stock copper cable is nice and very flexible but this new cable fits round my ear perfectly...so WIN. This is SPC.
