Hi guys, I am not sure if this is the right thread to ask this, but do let me know if it is not.
I have owned an Orion for a month thanks to all the reviews here and it has been the perfect IEM for me sound wise. Another reason I purchased it was because of the quality. I was so fed up with a Hifiman RE-600 that broke in 2 months, and a RHA MA750i that came out of the box with multiple kinks on the cable due to the packaging, so I decided to just bite the bullet and get the Orion.
Now the issue, After just one day of use the MMCX socket on the R side started wiggling a lot and doesn't sit flush to the aluminium housing of the IEM. It's the socket itself that has this problem as the connection between cable and socket is fine, by the way. The socket on the left side does not have this issue, maybe a little but not as much as the right side.
Here's a video demonstrating the issue:

The shop that sold me the Orion had a demo set of Jupiter that had the same issue (A demo Lyra was ok). As the sound still came through without issue I was not able to get an exchange and I had to brush it off (uncomfortably) as possible a non-issue since the shop said so.
Now a month in, I am starting to get intermittent disruption of the sound on the R channel when I sometimes press the housing/cable to adjust the seal/fit. I believe this could be due to the wiggling socket getting looser and looser as I use them on a daily basis. (I baby the IEM and put them in the hard case whenever it's not used, and have not tugged or pulled them harshly)
I have sent an email to Campfire Audio's support detailing this two days ago, but I believe it's weekend in the US so I haven't gotten any reply. I will post here with the response from Campfire Audio when they get back to me. The shop that sold me the IEM told me I have to wait for 8-12 weeks(!!) if I send them for a repair.
The reason I have decided to post it on Head-fi here is to see if other owners have the same problem and to serve as a potential caution to other owners. Don't get me wrong I love the aluminium build and the high end cable of the IEM, and the sound is perfect for me, but if I am to be honest, I feel disappointed.
