Don't lock this, the other thread was just to chose the design this can be for everything else. There will be specs coming after Christmas, probably the following Monday maybe. Im really interested in what this could be. Keep er reasonably priced to!

Because flagship DAPs need top components, including a powerful amp section, which takes up space, and all the more so if you want decent battery. You can look for DAPs in the more portable category, such as ZX100, Cowon Plenue D, Lotoo 5000, AK Jr and the like. They will be small and sound great but won't have the grunt of the big boys.

These high def players need a huge battery to get at least 8 hours of battery life. The Fiio X5ii for example has a 3300 mah battery, which plays for around 10 hours.  For comparison the Sandisk Clip Sport which gets 25 hours of battery life has a 220 mah battery. So the Fiio X5ii consumes power at around 37 times the rate of the Sandisk Clip Sport.

How expensive will the DX200 be? Whenever I see a large volume knob, I expect to see a high price.
