I know Forrest won't mind me quoting some of his mails to me... He sent me this one the 28th of april about his professional experience:
 

I was the project engineer handled JABRA product in  JABRA’s OEM factory in 2000, in 2002, JABRA was sold to GN Netcom, and the Jabra Ex-boss invested to UE, then, I became the project engineer handled UE products in the factory, I involved in development of the first hybrid product UE 5 Pro EB. In the end of 2005, I joined into a famous acoustic company, MWM acoustics, LLC, because some important engineers in MWM were from  Jabra, so MWM and UE had a very close relationship,  MWM designed product for UE at that time, the famous TF10 was design and developed by MWM, in 2011, MWM was sold to Harman Technology, become Harman Imbedded Audio.
 
I developed Hybrid headset in my spare time since 2010, in Sep, 2011, almost same as K3003, our first generation of hybrid headset came out, and since then, we just focus on custom headset, now, we got a very good reputation in China, but few people knows us in foreign country.

Are you serious on pure silver? I would probably hold my horses on buying new cable for now

Yes, I double-checked that it wasn't just silver-plated copper. In the tradition of @DarkVoice.

Forrest: "Nope, all silver conductor and it’s single crystal silver."
 
Me: "Nice! What are the most important sonic changes with the silver cable, roughly how much will it cost, and when will it be available? And is it ok if I leak this on head-fi?"
 
Forrest: "The new cable should be available in a month, unit price will be 880RMB/PC, but old customer who bought FLC8 or FLC8s will have a discount to 500RMB/PC, no problem to leak this on head-fi"
 
Went on Google and checked currency translation and got $80 for the existing FLC 8 & 8S owners and $140 for new purchases.
 
For those of you who haven't interacted with Forrest, he most certainly deserves your business not only because his IEM sound great but because he's so awesome to deal with!!!

Aww man I was totally off on all my guesses lol.. Wow single crystal silver?? And that's a scary (low) price. But man would that make the FLC8S even brighter than now though?
