The tour has started! Mine is almost ended, and although I'd love to add participants, I do need the B1 for personal use. If you want to join the USA tour, I believe @money4me247 is still accepting participants.

Please note: This tour is regardless of whether I get to keep the B1. If I don't get to keep it, it just goes straight back to Aune after the last tour-ist

Each person in the tour can keep it for 7 days from arrival (including the day it arrived), and must ship it on the eighth one. Priority mail flat rate small box ($5.25 USPS) is probably your cheapest option. However, I'd like to say at least for now that each package must be insured to $190, an extra $3.00 or so I think.

You must also include a review. At least 1 picture is mandatory. More is optional, but please make it somewhat more than initial impressions. Comparisons are a plus (hence the questions about headphones and amps).

Please be careful (more than usual) with the B1, as it may become mine somewhere along the road. Scratches through normal shipping and usage is not your fault, dropping it on the floor by mistake is. Remember that Aune will not be happy if it comes back dented or otherwise ruined, if they want it back. I will try to include a carrying bag as well, although the only one I can find right now is a very nice one, and I'd like to keep it

Tour Rules:

1. Shipping: Pack it well. You must ship the B1 in a plastic ziplock bag, cover it with bubble wrap, and put it in a box. If you want to use the previous applicant's packaging and box, that's fine, as long as it is intact. You must insure it to $200 as well. Tape it where it may open due to rough shipping - USPS's flat rate small box can open where you tuck the sides in.
These rules do not apply to members driving it to the next participant in their area, although you should bring the box/packaging as well to the next person out of courtesy, in case he wants to use it.
2. Needless to say, it must be shipped with what it came with - Aune B1 amp, carrying bag, and charger.
3. You can keep the B1 for 7 days at most (including the day you received it), and on the 8th day you must ship it out/ transfer it to the next user.
4. Reviewers will not be held responsible for any damage to the B1 sustained during shipping or normal usage, excluding accidents.
5. Reviewers should try to review objectively and fairly, although more than 1 photo is not required. Videos can be used as a supplement but not in exchange for a written review
6. Reviewers should try not to be overly negative of the product.
7. In the review, please indicate that the B1 you are reviewing is a loan unit, in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
8. The sender must provide the tracking number to both me and the recipient via PM. Recipient must post whether they've received the item in good working condition.
9. Please post all impressions in the impression thread, and reviews directly on the product.

And please be safe with the B1. Happy posting!

1) Location - City and State. USA only.
Pearland, TX (suburb of Houston). No, wasn't affected by the flooding (thankfully)

2) What headphones will you be using to review these with?
ATH-R70x (my new favorites), ATH-A700, ATH-M50, Sennheiser HD595, Sennheiser MX760, possibly ATH-ANC9, possibly AKG K7XX (if I go in for one this time)

3) What other amplifiers (desktop or portable) do you have?
Schiit Magni 2 Uber, Headroom Desktop Home, FiiO E11, iBasso T4, Headsave Classic, Headsave PIMETA

4) Whether you want 7 people in the tour and each one with 7 total days with the B1, or 9 people with 5 total days to be with the B1.
If I get it, I'd rather get it for longer, so I'd go for fewer people for longer time, even if that means I don't get one.

Winners:

@nmatheis
@JoeDoe
@Wildcatsare1
@Hapster
@bhazard
@session76
@Jjacq
@SunByrne

I'd like to apologize to those who haven't gotten into the tour. @money4me247 should be making another USA tour soon, so keep your ears open. I tried to arrange this according to area, to minimize shipping times, with the exception of 1 member who helped me out in organizing this tour. The list is as follows:

1. @bhazard
2. @session76
3. @Hapster
4. @Wildcatsare1
5. @JoeDoe
6. @Jjacq
7. @SunByrne
8. @nmatheis

Each participant can keep the B1 for 6 days including the day you received it, and on the 7th day you must ship it out/ transfer it to the next user. I'll start by giving it to bhazard when I meet him in Manhattan (hopefully on Monday), and he'll continue from there. Keep in mind the tour rules, and good luck! I'll include some updates later.

@avitron142,

there were only 9 people who expressed interest on this thread. I can cover the last three people on your list if not too many other USA people express interest. I will probably ship out beginning of next week (Tues/Wed). Since @SunByrne is at the end of the line and he is a fellow Texan, I will ship to him first. Then @wega03 since he is also in Texas so shipping costs may be a bit lower to do it in that order. Then @nmatheis since he posted a reply the quickest, finally @Jjacq. Jjacq should still get the item the sooner hopping over onto my tour.

Order of My Tour (if okay with @avitron142 & everyone else)
1) SunBryne
2) wega03
3) nmatheis
4) Jjacq
5) etc... etc...

I will ship out beginning of next week regardless how many additional people sign up. People on my tour can indefinitely continue passing forward the B1. I have the HA-2 for portable usage, so I don't mind extending my tour as long as needed if there are many more interested people who want to try it out.

My Tour Rules(please read carefully)

1. I will ship the B1 in a very secure package with bubble wrap or peanuts. I know popping bubbles is alotta fun, try to restrain yourself =P The item will be travelling a lot on tour. If the protective packaging is lost or does not seem sufficiently safe, I would greatly appreciate it if you can pack it well.
2. No need to insure the package on my tour. Shipping method of your choice.
3. Don't steal/lose/damage it!!! There are other people waiting behind you in line.
4. Don't throw away the original packaging, try your best not to destroy the box, and please try not to lose the accessories. There are only two (usb charging cable and short wire). I don't think my B1 came with a carrying case, but I will need to double check this & update if needed. Please check prior to shipping to ensure you placed everything back into the box.
5. To be courteous to be the people waiting behind you, please ship it out when you are done using it. One week should be a reasonable amount of time to play with the device. If you use it less than a week or decide pretty quickly you are not interested in the item, try shipping it out earlier.
6. Reviews not required for my tour. Feel free to write one if you are so inclined and you can write whatever you want. Do indicate that you are reviewing a loaner tour unit.
7. Please do PM the following recipient and me to tracking number of the package. Please inspect the unit for damage when you first receive it and let me know if there is any damage or defectives upon first receiving the item. Last person on the tour will be responsible for shipping the item back to me or Aune.
8. Please post status updates to this thread on when you receive and ship out my tour unit. Specify that you are part of money4me247's tour.
9. Have fun & enjoy!!! :)

Cheers!

@bhazard
@session76
@Hapster
@Wildcatsare1
@JoeDoe

Ah, well, I guess if we're splitting this into two tours I'll give the remaining people of the tour an extra day, so you guys got 7 days including the day you receive it, and on the 8th ship it out. I'd also like to ask that the sending participant PM me and the receiver a tracking number as well, to keep things going smoothly.

@JoeDoe I would like to ask you which tour you would like to join, as @Jjacq lives only one state over; though either on my tour or on @money4me247 's tour you'll be last (sorry
frown.gif
). I was really looking forward to your review on the B1, since you have a lot of experience with reviews and such. Let me know though!

EDIT: I didn't realize that @money4me247 had other people in his tour besides for the ones he helped me with. This is all if it's okay with @money4me247 .Either way @JoeDoe should receive it roughly around the same time.
