........... That brings up a good point about pillow friendly Headphones (and perhaps some IEM's) as a lot of us can only lye on our backs for 20-30 minutes before they ache and have to turn onto our side which is usually an uncomfortable experience!

Never could get into the sleeping with iems. Too uncomfortable to lie on my side, not to mention paranoid about breaking them (fell asleep wearing my late lamented Sennheisers once… once)

Mr T,  I don't quite see it that way - I am inclined to think that every sleep could be my last, so why waste a good listen to help me nod off, maybe for the final time!

I try to buy stuff at reasonable cost so I don't have to worry about losing it or breaking, etc.

I take every opportunity to listen to my gear especially before nodding off and it helps me wind down especially after a busy or stressful day.

Are we still doing pictures of our setup?

Mine's pretty janky, since I have very limited space. My PC doubles as my main source -> Sound Blaster E3 -> 3.5mm -> RCA adapter -> Sherwood AD230B Amplifier. Since the E3 has two outputs, I can also hook up low-impedance earphones directly to it. I've had to tape it down so that it doesn't fall.

I do close every day by laying in bed listening to music, basking in the warm glow of my tube amp. I make a habit of taking my gear off once I feel myself drifting off, never could allow myself to just fall asleep with it still running. This is where headphones are a bonus since I usually can't sleep on my back and don't have to worry much about damage.

I knew the Chord Mojo was small but didn't expect it to be this small (tiny was the first word that came into my mind when I opened the box and took it out, but it is actually rather small than tiny).

As Amazon Germany is now also carrying Mojo stock, I decided to order one. After it is fully charged up in 10 hours according to the manual on the back of the inner package, I'll see how many of my very personal requirements it reaches and will soon-ish know whether I have any use/application for it or if I'm going to return it.

Mojo didn't enchant me, I owned it twice to be sure, but we parted ways.

I was writing about it last night here:

I would have however liked to try Mojo with full-size headphones as I had this feeling...

The AAW Q really is the best iem I've come across for lying down. Thing is so damn tiny. It completely disappears into your ear canal.

you have yet to try Phonak or Flare iems my friend :)

HiFiChris never mind Mojo, I see from your notes you are reviewing Superlux HD668 B as well  Assuming from Gearbest :D Aren't these quite impressive for $26? Even the plastic build is not that bad at all. I haven't done too much listening with these yet, but have a feeling I will be comparing them to M50x.

@twister6

That damn thing takes forever to charge the very first time!

I hope it really takes this long and isn't defective as the battery was discharged when it arrived, but as the package already says that it should be charged for at least 10 hours before the first use, there are at least 5 hours to go.

Anyway, regarding the Superlux: Yep, GearBest, and yep, astonishingly good for the money, however I'm already aware of Superlux's bang-for-the-buck-ness since I bought the HD681 just for fun ~ 3 years ago. Didn't expect anything and was very surprised about the technical capabilities for the money, however the treble could have been tamer (not a biggie for the price though). The HD668B has got more bass than the HD681, however its treble is fortunately also less obtrusive in comparison (albeit still north of neutral and a bit much at times) and therefore easier to bear.

True, but there is no way they'll be smaller than these. These are a 6mm driver with a thin steel shell surrounding it. There is a tiny bit over overlap in the front to accommodate the screen, and another ~2mm of steel in the back to allow for cable entry. And that's pretty much it. They're about the size of your standard medium eartip.

Side-by-side with another 6mm earphone from your favorite brand.

THX H2, you sealed my thoughts on the Mojo. For my needs it's just too much to spend! Now the 668 B is a whole nother story, I have been jamming on mine for some time now and can heartily recommend to anyone who has a spare $25 get these asap:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
