Had mine since a couple days after it was released in Japan—so essentially, a year. I don't use a case of any kind, and I detect zero wear. I'm not really sure it's leather, tho. Some sort of synthetic pleather, maybe?
I agreed about the styling, that thing is ugly for sure...some people love it and said that it is unique that way ? But for being in this forum for a while, I can tell you that "hype, and self purchase justification" is real. Some people would just deliberately believe that they paid and purchased a good product just due to hype and pricing alone ..... No wonder why A&K keeps on increasing the price.
It is a disaster to see AK380 copper being 4K....where as a good gaming laptop or desktop cost even less .... Lol
