I got mine second hand. They're probably still good because I baby all my audio gear. I always keep my IEMs in a hard case when I'm not using them.

Didn't get mine second-hand, but I definitely baby my audio gear. I like to keep everything in as good condition as humanly possible

Sent my Havi's out to penon on Feb 9th with a 10-day shipping method because one of the earpieces cracked at the screw-port. Still no word from them. I'm guessing I'm now out my 60$... Quite sad.

Penon is known for excellent customer support, with those dates it's likely you hit the Chinese new year with yoyr return. I've just been through thesame with another company. I'd suggest you keep sending the emails til you get an answer.

Good luck!

I had to sent the xDuoo X2 back to them and they didn't receive it for over a month. You have to be patient. I think the problem is the Chinese postal service. Overall, though frustrating, Penon staff kept friendly, professional and helpful throughout the whole process. They're sending me out a brand me unit from the latest, supposedly improved batch of X2s. I've not heard anyone who has been screwed over by Penon. So patience is key when dealing with overseas.

PS. Have you been emailing them? I was hounding them every couple of days to keep me up to date.

Thank you both! This gives me a considerable boost in hope! Lol.

And yes I have been keeping in touch, but haven't emailed them all that recently. My real concern isn't Penon, but if they got lost in transit!

Yeah, Penon provides very good service. In my experience, the Chinese postal service is the slow part. I once needed to send back a set of GR06s for replacement and it took nearly a month for it to get there. USPS may say 10 business days, but I can really only trust that number domestically, international really depends on that country's postal service and China's ain't that good.

Raw measurement of Havi B3Pro-1

If i remember correctly, the main issue was channel imbalance and high distortion on allegedly some sets. This graph resembles the one from innerfidelity,,,any new numbers on distortion??

I've been saying this for a while. I think it's the channel imbalance and slight distortion levels that make the Havi B3P1 sound so unique and rewarding. Kind of like the distortion of a tube amp that everyone loves so much. Channel imbalance could be what makes the sound stage so wide.

Just a theory.
