I saw these on-ear hedphones from NAD in an ad from Sound&Vision mag, but I can't find any details. Even NAD's website doesn't list them...

Does it look as spazzy as the 50? Don't like looking like Frankenstein!

I would like to own HP50, but yeah, their look is not an advantage. These, instead, seem to be more polite… kinda. The ad I'm referring to stated that "We don't care about your lifestyle. We care about sound quality". May not be without any reason!

I prefer the look of these, and, admittedly, when it comes to portable audio, there's always a sound compromise, so looks matter. I'd definitely be interested if the price was in the $200 range.

You're right about the look. And you must be right with the price too. If HP20 sells for 169 and HP50 for 299, we could see HP30 at, say, 229. Maybe 199 if they want to compete Solo2 and/or Urbanite.

I could care less about looks provided it's not ridiculously 'Frankenstein'.  I think those using headphones as a fashion accessory are more than a little ridiculous.  I am interested in the headphone itself as NAD has created some great audio gear in the past.

So i read this article: http://hometheaterreview.com/nad-expands-range-of-headphones-with-viso-hp30/

I thought i'd share it on here since its big brother got so much hype these past years. As i can see, there isn't much talk about these though. NAD says it started shipping already and it's going to hit stores in September at a price of 229$.

Any of you guys had the chance to try these yet?or some more info on these?

The HP30 are now available at Amazon but I have not found any reviews. They look like a good traveling semi full sized, ones nice design, likely not as much isolation as the HP50 but may be more comfortable. Any experience?

There's a guy in Australia, who has already pulled the trigger on these. I'm tempted, but have already pulled the trigger on too many other toys to try these without first hearing from someone else. I'm expecting to hear an impression from @chailee80 any day now. Otherwise, feel free to buy and post your impressions. You'd be doing the rest of us a big favor

Still waiting on stock here in Australia as far as I know. I'll ring my supplier today or tomorrow and see if they have an update on the eta for them.
