You can't actually. The X5 II doesn't have that capability. The X7 might but I haven't used it.
Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
Got my DP-X1 in January for about $565 US, including delivery form HK to Oz. At the time at least, X7 was way more than that. X5 is not in the same league, surely.
Oh, and the Onkyo and its Pioneer brother are the only DAPs currently O the market that run MQA
The Onkyo (which I also have) and the Pioneer are able to have offline music downloaded to the mSD in slot one where the FiiO X7 is limited to the 32gb internal memory which would be filled quickly.
Storage space an issue? Ditch that iphone and get a proper DAP with two micro SD slots like my Onkyo DP-X1. With Samsung launching their 256 GB micro SD, you won't be running out of space before the 512 GB version becomes available Oh, can't wait for Tidal to switch on MQA option, I'm ready!
Or trim your offline playlists rather than carrying around music that you never listen to.
I know I could live with the 128 Gb I have on my iPhone.
Probably even 64Gb TBH.

+1. Tidal makes it really easy to remove offline files.
Well, I don't have any phone related limitation as the DP-X1 does all the playing. As I'm changing the phone every 3-4 months, it would be quite inconvenient to keep my FLACs on it and also have a large number of Tidal offline files.

I set a download quality as "high" and streaming quality as HiFi. But when I use online mode with avaliable wifi Tidal still play "High" track from cache memory instead HiFi quality streaming. It is very bad, because I wish to have a more free space on my iphone, but when avaliable good wifi connection I want to listen a HiFi quality.

new desktop app just released
New desktop app as tepid as the old one. How do I get rid of Beyonce and all those useless rappers and bands from the first page??? Why can't I customize it? Paying the monthly for HD tracks not enough to warrant some freaking flexibility in customizing to my musical taste?

I agree; I highly doubt the beyonce garbage is "top" for the past two months. They need to stop trying to shove garbage down our throats.
Playlists and new music discovery are still so terrible. I would drop tidal in an instant if Spotify offered hifi streaming.

You gotta remember who owns Tidal, now.

I'm sure there are many people who like to have everything available and play randomly, but I'll also bet a sizeable number of people get trapped scrolling "looking for inspiration", but if you are like me and hate wasting time endlessly scrolling through far too much choice, just limit what you select as offline available to material you are actually interested in hearing. Saves time, saves space and you can simply update your offline selection as your needs change. In my mind that is better than dumping everything offline and dealing with the issues that entails.

Really upset, pressed something in Roon, and it added about 300 (if not more - a genre) albums to my favourites in Tidal, and (on mobile at least) can only remove them one at a time...
Not sure what to blame the most, Tidal or Roon
