Heh.

"You purchased this item on April 1, 2013".

Unfortunately mine is too short.. (4 ft).

Doh. Well they are inexpensive so its easy to get more.

Hows the return policy on the used x2, the same? Is the sound quality really the same as the removable pads.

It's the usual return policy so no worries there. They are the same headphones except with glue. I think it was a knee jerk reaction at first which caused all the craziness and mass returns at amazon. It's the same headphones with glue used as an extra measure to secure the removable earpads.

Can you tell me which model case exactly?

Thanks!

I'm also enjoying the X2's so much I'm debating whether to get another one for the office, as the pair I just got from Massdrop is going to be a home use pair.

127.82 is an insane price.  8 available.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00O2Y2MZG/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all

I visited the Verkkokauppa shop in Pirkkala today to audition some headphones.  I was surprised to see they had the X2 available too.  I could see it was a WOOX pair, as were the 3 they have on the shelves.  The demo unit had an interesting 3D type effect going on with the print.

Check the 'E' in "POWER" onwards.  Never saw that in any of my 3 pairs, always fun to see what they're going to come up with next.  Sounded identical to my WOOX pair at home.

The price is right just now with so many return models available from amazon warehouse. I say go for it now if you want a deal, or wait a few weeks for the new batches if the extra £70-80 is not such an issue for you.

Either way you will end up with a great sounding headphone!

The new ones are only about a fiver more than the "as new".

Is my assumption about the sound correct IE they're good for movies and edm?

I'm not a fan of neutral but dt990's had a bit too recessed mids.
