Too good to be true. Do you think it's a scam?

That could be legit. Good seller rating and the price is only 40 lower than amazon. No way to be sure but it could go wither way.

Just burn in my ckr9 around 50 hours, instantly become my fave iem after doppio!

The soundstage and bass is sooo addictive!

Are you saying you like Doppio or CKR9 more?

Happy owner of a CKR10 here. Out of the box the bass seemed to overpower the mids and I thought I was gonna have a hard time with them. After about 20 hours burn-in it has smoothened out and the mids have come out to play.

Now I reckon the bass goes deep and punches well. Some say it's too warm but I think it's ok as long as it doesn't muddy up the mids. The mids are something. Good timbre, natural, not recessed at all. Vocals are amazing with them. Details are amazing too for a warm earphone. The treble is detailed and extends well, just lacks a bit of sparkle for me. This way it's non-fatiguing at least. Soundstage is all right with good separation.

Full disclosure: I sold my IM03 after getting this. IM03 does everything well technically but the CKR10 packs more punch in the bass and detail in the mids for me. I thought I was going to like multiple BAs but these dual dynamics really wowed me in the end.

I got a good deal for the CKR10s that's why I bought them, but now I'm wondering if I should get the CKR9s as well. Are they brighter and more detailed? How do they handle vocals?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer.

Yes, the CKR9's are brighter in comparison to the CKR10's. The 10's has a slightly lifted lower mids while the 9's got a luft in the higher mids.

I personally find the bass on the CKR9's to be less intrusive and very tight while still having great impact and extention .

Hope this helps :)

Thanks man, hope to get a good offer for them soon. Sounds like what I need for that extra treble sparkle.

I just came across these. Don't think anyone has posted them before. It's pretty interesting to see how the signature is perceived vs how it measures. I would have never guessed the FR looked like that. Just goes to reinforce that measurements don't tell you the whole story.

Hi guys

How about the bass quantity and mid-range presentation (i mean it's more laidback or forward) of CKR9LTD compared to CKR9?

The midrange is equally forward on both and the Ltd may have ever so slightly more mid-bass but the difference is not big. The regular 9's also got a lift in the higher mids that's not there on the Ltd's.

To my ears the Ltd has the lower half of the spectrum from the CKR9's and the upper from the CKR10's if that make sense.

This results in a more airy and lively sound on the CKR9's and a more intimate sound on the Ltd's. I find bot to be free from sibliance and equally enjoyable. To my ears the CKR10's has slightly to much mid-bass, thus is fixed on the Ltd's giving them a more airy presentation as well (but not as airy as the regular 9's).

The Ltd's strikes me as the most balanced of the three since it doesn't have the lower mids hump of the CKR10's nor the lift in the higher mids that the CKR9's has.

To me the 9's and the Ltd's are perfect compliment to each other and makes a dynamic duo that's very hard to beat

I've only had the Ltd's for the last week but I do intend to make a full three way comparison between the three when I get more time with them.

Hope this helps.

Hey guys I recently just ordered a pair of CKR9LTD from this link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252022370129

But now I'm a bit skeptical, probable that it could be fake as the price seems too good to be true. I will have a pair of Yamaha EPH100 soon as well.

So I will be comparing the two to see if it is a fake or not. From what I've read on this forum, bass quality is suppose to be evidently better than the EPH100. What other qualities should I look for to tell if it's a fake or not?

Thanks

Pretty much, if it's from HK or China, it's almost certainly fake.
