Yes the dx90 fits inside the pelican 1010 case. This is with the silicon dx90 case on, and with the rubber insert in the 1010 case. I would say a very nice fit - almost like they were designed to fit together. If you press the dx90 in flat its a bit tight so is a awkward too get it out again. I have my burn cable below the dx90 in the case on one edge so the dx90 sits at an angle and is easier to get out. I can also fit some um3x earphones in the case as well on the other side

Hopefully ibasso will get the driver sorted out. I gave up after many BSODs.

Tried mine and yeah, as above, it's a snug fit

Ah Thanks guys. Looks good. I will order the 1010.

Error I am getting is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Stop 0x0000000A.

Unfortunatelly, this is a common problem, hard to eliminate, for USB drivers based on WDF :frowning2:

If you have both USB3.0 (blue) and USB2.0 (black) kind of ports, try to use USB2.0. If you try to connect it via a hub, try to connect directly to a port.

I also sent iBasso an email regarding the BSOD.  Error I am getting is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Stop 0x0000000A.  Is this consistent with what others are seeing?

Have you gone into Device Manager, done an uninstall driver for the Mango Audio Device and then reinstalled manually? I got the screen for Windows a couple of times, uninstalled and then reinstalled, restarted the computer and it has worked fine since with no blue screen.

Yeah, I did it about 3-4 times.  Sometimes I would get through a couple songs before bsod, sometimes it was halfway thru the first.

What operating system are you on in Windows? I have 7 and it is working fine but had to reinstall, as mentioned. Before the reinstall I got part way through a song and the computer froze, even my Mac side of the computer but then with the uninstall etc, everything is ok. Do you go into both areas of the Device manager to uninstall? I think I had the DX90 plugged in, uninstalled there and then in the Mango device as it also shows the software.

I am on Win 7 64bit.  I was using it through my laptop dock at work, I will try the actual laptop itself and see if I still have issues.  *Shouldn't* make a difference because the dock essentially runs on the same USB 2.0 bus as the laptop ports, but I'll give it a try.

Don't know enough to answer this question, why some requires drivers and others don't

The DX90 is based on hardware that is different from plug and play dacs, therefore drivers are required. I use it on my Mac but I use Parallels to run Widnows 7. I can start it in Windows and go back to Mac and it works fine but have to start in Windows.

Installing the driver over the old one previously installed will get you nowhere.

Here is how I was able to successfully installed it.

First the best is to figure out which version you need; in my case I have Win 8.1 64-bit so I installed the 64 bit from the installation package instead of it finding out. I would think that If you use the setup.bat install in the base directory that should work but took no chances.

I did not leave the player connected initially when performing the following:

(1) Uninstall the previous version by going to Device Manager, open Sound video and game controllers, right click on the iBasso Mango HiFi Audio Device and uninstall it.
(2) Install the proper version of the driver from the download using setup.exe (folder: 10-24 usb DAC Version1.0 contains both the x86 and x64 folders for 32 and 64-bit drivers, pick the one that is compatible with your windows install)
(3) Connect your player and check the Device Manager. You should see "Mango Device\Mango USB Interface" section without any exclamation mark on it, if you do have exclamation mark, then uninstall and install by right clicking and selecting Update Driver Software and browsing to the directory of your install called "mango_sub", example for me: \10-24 usb DAC Version1.0\x64\mango_usb. It will pick up the audio device driver and install it properly. If you do not have the exclamation mark it means the driver has been properly installed.
(4) Disconnect and reconnect the player.

After all that you should be able to see you USB driver showing up in the Control Panel/Sound section. Make it the default so  it will play through your player.

Sorry about the number of instructions but this driver is anything but easy to setup.

This one worked as well on Windows 7 64-bit as I tried it on my work PC, but the exclamation mark for mine came from the word 'DX90' but I still used the same install directory and it worked.

The problem I am having now is that the 'iBasso Mango Hifi Audio Device' is not showing anymore on my Windows 8.1 laptop :frowning2:

Did you try a manual install of the driver? That is what I had to do.
