For iems, your likelihood of not needing an amp is increased with a better amp stage. I am also hoping to be able to leave my amp at home on a commuting quest.

Actually something like that has been done. In the 70's IBM had 2 models of big line printers. One did 600 lines per minute and one did 1200 lines per minute. It was actually exactly the same printer with 2 different labels on. It had a secret switch you flipped to make the change. In practise 2 IBM guys came and collected your old printer and installed a new one uf you did an upgrade but they could have just flipped the switch.

What is it about Headfi and biting the hand that feeds you. Look how ell that worked for Calyx. Be happy that Jamato has given us as much as he has.

Hey dude, i think it should not be "us" what you write, coz its just you who ever think about that thing since jamato had it.

Everyone here, I mean "us" were happy and excited on every single detail/info that jamato was giving.

I just saw in tech specs output impedance: <0.1 ohm
