I have 5 of the batteries that are marked Samsung from the seller on eBay. They all charge up fine in the Anker battery charger I got or in the DX50 or 90. They all sound better than the original battery or the Anker battery. And they all have solid printing, a clean finish to the batteries outside and individual serial numbers. I wonder if the eBay seller got a bad batch, has some bad batteries mixed with good. Whatever the case, it is unfortunate that he is sending out some batteries that are bad and I am sorry that more have not received good batteries, as they do make a difference, a positive one, IMO.
Have you tried charging your batteries in the DX90 itself, or only in the Anker charger? It would be interesting to see if any of yours reach a full charge in the DX90.
Doesn't reach full charge through the dx90 but I had a battery charger I found and used that, I'll see if it last long...it doesn't last so long is what is the problem for me versus the pisen

Mine reaches full charge too. It was half way when I first got it and it took like 20 minutes to charge it to full using my motorola micro usb charger.
Try plugging it in an outlet instead of your computer. Usually your computer can't give as much power.
I've seen fakes before and the s3 battery that I got looks genuine.
I'm feeling something from the Samsung battery from Jamato's link... not exactly sure if I'm truly hearing it or not, but it does seem like the treble is a bit smoother compared to the pisen. Will have to do some more listening later.
Quick question; I hear that the DX50 required a lot of updates before it started working well and that we can expect the same of the DX90. Are these all firmware upgrades or does iBasso upgrade the player hardware as well?

The UI of the DX90 pretty much picked up where the DX50 left off. There have been far fewer issues from the start with the DX90. It is really quite a polished and intuitive UI now.
