Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

My niece said the fit is great and got on the treadmill without any problems of it shifting in her ear. They feel good and go in deep. That was good to hear since she has small ear canals like mine.

Did they really include an extra set of tips? I was hoping that these might become my new go to tips. They sound like they'd be really soft and comfy. And I remember Warren remarkin upon their amazing seal/isolation quality

Ill post some of the blue tin later. Don't have sufficient light to model those yet. The cable slider is awesome. Holds up well and is quite sturdy.

I'm VERY glad I stuck with white cross hatch. The black imo, while others may like it and not taking anything away from their purchase, look horrible. Very plasticky and stiff. I will say I like the red and blue rings on the back though

That black cable rainbow looks real nice. Do you dudes/dudettes have tiny hands or something cause the rockets look huge?

Ill post some blue tins with my manly hands later. Those little mitts are my nieces.

The tips feel great. 4 sizes. Some of the best feeling tips I've come across, but that is not saying much since the best silicone tips I felt were for the fx700 and sony hybrid tips.

Your new Delta Chi name is vviolet!

I'll take it :D

Dude. Talk about that bass. Is it satisfactory?

I'll snap some photos of mine with the black cable sometime by 12am eastern.

Bass is not emphasized, at all, not even a bit, zero emphasis. Couldn't test extension cuz I was on a subway train for most of my first listen.

This thread is nothing but fingernail porn. Some painted, some nude but all by the rockets red glare. Peep shows over. Time for the heavy lifting and post some first impressions. :p

Imaging is really top notch.

Detail retrieval and separation are really excellent.

Soundstage height is some of the best i've heard.

Bass is incredibly incredibly clean. But again, no emphasis, at all. Kind of a good idea to do with a micro driver actually. Cuz they don't excel at big driver bass, why not tone it down. I like.

I had this little long running joke with Cn11 about how hilarious it'd be if the little $99 Rocket would wind up being THE giant killer, while we were busy snatching up kilobuck phones left and right haha. Welp, that's all I gotta say to that :D
