Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

So the Rockets mic will be able to activate remote control functions? Just want to confirm that with you.

As long as your phone supports it and the TRRS doesn't have the mic and ground pins swapped, yes, it will work like any other single-button remote and mic.  if your mic and ground pins are swapped (rare nowadays), you can get something like the MEE TRRS to TRRS adapter to fix that.

  I have an iPhone 5.

Then yes, it will work.  Single click to play/pause/answer call (you can only answer calls when you have an incoming call), double click to skip song, triple click to go back, click and hold to activate siri.  I forgot if hang up a call was a single click or a hold (during call only, obviously).

I use a 5s BTW :p

Only 9 hours left. Do you guys think it will cause like some pain to your ears over extended use? Only IEMs I used were the apple junks (not the wired new pod thing, the old one) lolz and they hurt after some good hours.

a good set of IEMs will not hurn NEARLY as much as the iPhone ones.  Those are just crappy plastic, these are small, super lightweight silicone-tipped IEMs.

And they promise no fatigue so I think they should be good.

I'm sick of my Bose MIE2i so I'm getting these with a mic instead

Nice.
Yea I don't have any IEMs at all.
I don't need to the mic version because I don't have a phone currently. And I don't really want it for my computer because I'm gonna have to get a adapter.
I have a question, does the leather pouch come with the hard waterproof case? Or does it come with any rocket? I like that little pouch.
