Planning to bring my DIY electrostats and Blue Hawaii again. Did lots of mods on my drivers since last meet! Also got Stax adapters now so you can listen to your Stax on my amp or listen to my headphones on your amp which I know there was interest in both directions last time.

Very cool. Can't wait to try your stats again. They were a hit last Fall.

On another note, I'm hoping that peeps who have made/bought T50RP mods and other mods alike will bring them along. I've heard all of Mr Speakers creations -- just bought the Alpha Dogs. And have Smeggy's Thunderpants. So I'll be bringing both. LFF's mods? BMF's mods? Anyone?

On the DIY tip... I probably will bring my last two creations -- an ES9023 based DAC (same DAC chip as used in the ODAC) and the The Wire amp. I'd like to have my Linkwitz Crossfeed done in time, but I'm not sure I can get my act together. Also, I just got an EHHA Rev A kit. It's ready to go on the bench. Unfortunately, it won't make an appearance until this Fall at the earliest.

Can't wait for the fun!

OK, read the article in the link first post, still don't quite get it...they had people with all sorts of interesting rigs, many hand-built. I have some mid level headphones, Senn 650, Westone W4, Shure 1540, many others but not "top tier". Should I just throw a bunch in a bag and bring them? (that's OK with me if that;s what people rio). Thanks

Within Head-Fi all levels are accepted. You gotta start somewhere, right? So it's best that each level is represented. For example, the AKG K240 Sextett is both a vintage headphone, yet it still can be had for less than $150. They are one of my favorite headphones. Thus, can be had by someone starting out. The low cost high performance O2 amp can drive 'em even. The point is... bring your gear. I bring my gear. He brings his gear. She brings her gear. We all have a good time kibitzing about all the gear and maybe even have a chance to listen to some of it.

And then proceed to spend money at the not so silent auctions and the vendors that will be there.

Hi,

Newbie to the Head-Fi community. I would love to join in on the Meet. Is there anything I need to do other than show up and wear deoderant? Looking foward to the Meet.

EC should be interesting. Hoping someone brings a S7 maybe. I might pick up the bottleheadphones just to have something unique for people to try.
