Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

It's funny to me that as OCD as audiophiles are, there isn't a bigger clamor for DDs used for bass. People care about the difference between cables, but still don't care that dynamic drivers make music sound like how it sounds out in the wild.

I think you've got a point there. I consider my 1plus2 (hybrid) still as one of the most holographic/real sounding pair of iems I've heard so far, but it definitely needed a good source and cable to get it on that level...

Hybrid is the way to go. Pure dynamic sounds coarse. For bass, go big on the dynamic drivers please.

Concerning bass: I think BA's can make you hear the bass, where DD's can make you feel it

That's why I could Feel it more with IE800: my throat started to thumping along with the base and quite did not with K10C. It's just the uncomfortable with the wear of IE800 that I have to go with Custom IEM.

Yeah...I always use some extra suspenders while listening to my hybrid iems,
just to avoid my pants from dropping down on the floor

But hey (just to get back on topic here), maybe the Dulce Bass has the same effect

Going on holiday on Saturday and was supposed to have my K10s in time for that... I guess that won't happen now :triportsad:

Must be bad for you considering it is what, your third pair now? Hopefully UPS will sort it out asap but I am not getting my hopes up

I feel for you guys but I'm now also worried. Last time Brannan emailed me he was waiting for a part for the Savanna I ordered but otherwise the uiem was built and sitting on his desk. With any luck the parts are in and I should get the UPS confirmation soon (fingers crossed)

Hopefully it'll be third time lucky and there will be no shipping problems (knocks on wood, prays to whatever deity may be listening).

Not sure why people think I have more than one pair of Noble products, I do not. This is mine in for repair again, from my own fault.

That is what I ment I just might not have worded it obviously enough. 3rd time you receive the same set? That make more sense?

I had two user error episodes with my JH16's...Not fun. Do you still have your K10U's as a backup?

Am I the only one that likes BA drivers for bass haha

I think a well tuned BA sounds faster, cleaner and overall better and the potential is there to have more quantity, just hasn't really been implemented to do that in most of these flagships as huge thumping overpowering bass makes for an overall degraded sound. Some peoples preference is for the bass to drown everything out and make the sound quality less accurate - my preference is not that

PS: My rush order on the K10c has taken 27 business days so far and still haven't heard anything. Vacation soon with no K10 = sad day. It's very expensive to add the rush too.
