Anyone going to be at the NYC Stereophile Show? I'm going to be up for that show and the NYC HeadFi meeting at Grado. Anyone want to meet and cruise the Stereophile show together?
Thanx

.

I'll definately be going to both the head-fi meet and the Stereophile show. I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the show on Thursday. I'll definately be there on Sunday though. Just keep in touch. I think there's quite a few guys here doing both shows.

Sunday would be a good day to go. Aaron (immtbiker) and I were planning to go as well, and hopefully Sunday will work for him.

I will probably be there Saturday. Do you have any times or locations of it?

Does anyone have FRS or GMRS radios? I have a FRS one, we could all breing ours to talk to each other with exagerrated military style, saying "over" at the end of our sentance. Using code names of course.

Damn... that's a lot of money, just to look at stereo kit for a day.

I went to the NY Home Entertainment Show a couple of years ago. It really is worth the money. I think $27 to get to hear some of the most exotic systems (that we'll probably never hear otherwise), to get to meet some of the designers of these components and to enjoy great music with a whole bunch of people that enjoy it as much as we do is a pretty good price.

If you're in town and you like high-end audio, you should definately go.
I think you'll enjoy yourself.

Is there anything for sale at this show? Maybe at some discount?

Actually you can buy some of the stuff. As reps dont want to lug it all back home if they dont have to. Especially speakers. But usually it's on Sunday as they need to have it all on hand for the show. You can ususlly score some good deals. I will actually have some Headphone cables with me I will probably sell at a discount at the Grado meeting and if anybody see's me at the Stereophile show. I will also have a Prototype Head Amp with me but that wont be for sale.
Thanx
