I have adjusted the volume from 0 to mid 30's on the 770 and I do not get any channel imbalance.  The volume scale ranges from 0 to 60; with all my current earphones that I've listened to so far (KC06, Tenores, Westone 2's) comfortable listening volumes are in the 25 to 32 range.  With the Westone 2s, I was unable to hear anything below about 5, but there was no obvious channel imbalance moving up from 5 to around 30.  Honestly, moving up beyond about 35, the volume is so loud I can't stand it.  I knew there was a screw of some sort on the 760 to adjust channel balance, but this is not a feature of the 770.  So no problems with channel balance on my unit.

I'll try to put some pictures of the 770 up soon; I'll have to get my son to help me with the camera!!.  I do not see any problems with the headphone jacks.  My earphones all connect nicely and there is no instability or feeling of looseness in the jacks.  It really does look like a graceful machine, but it is solidly built.  It is light, but it does not feel cheap.  The tempered glass plate does attract fingerprints and some may not like this.  The glass cleans easily with a microfiber cloth.  I suppose some might want to put a screen protector over the glass, but I don't think I'll do this.  Once I get some reasonable pictures, I'll try to post them.  I'll try to show the 770 in comparison to the 960 and Sflo2 or Colorfly C3/C&C BH combo.

many thanks for your advice indeed. for 760, even with the screw to the balance ajuster, it is no use, i adjust many times but not work esp at low listening level.
 
Glad to hear the channel imbalance is solved in 770. Will try demo and if this solves, will buy one as this sound quality at this price is very high cp ratio,

 
Okay, here is my attempt at some photos showing the iHiFi 770.  The first 2 pictures show from L to R:  Colorfly C3/C&C BH amp, Nationite Sflo2, Xuelin iHiFi 770 and the iHiFi 960 (double-core version).  Photos 3 and 4 compare the iHiFi 770 with the 960.  The last photo shows the 770 in its leather case.

- when you power on, how many seconds does the 770 take to access to the folder ?
- how many lines of folders can you read on the screen ?
- is it a micro USB that is used ?

I'll answer your questions as best I can.  When you initially power on, you will see the Xuelin logo (looks like a sound meter readout) which changes pretty quickly to the initial menu "page".  On this screen, there are 3 icons, 1 that looks like a music symbol, one that looks like a file symbol, and the last looks like a settings symbol.  The symbols line up Left to right with the music symbol on the left, file symbol in the middle and the settings symbol on the right. You hit the advance "button" on the touch screen to move to the middle file symbol and immediately you see a screen that says Flash or SD card.  You select either Flash or SD card and this immediately opens to a screen that reads something like Music or Playlist.  I have all my music entered in alphabetical order by artists which are under the music file (I use drivesort to arrange artists in alphabetical order).  As soon as I select Music, then the files immediately appear on the screen.  I can see 6 artists on the initial screen, but once you start scrolling, you will see 7 artists on the screen.  Once I select the artist, then his/her albums appear.  I then select an album and then the songs appear.  So to answer your question, the navigation can take a few to several seconds depending how well you maneuver the touch screen.  The touch screen is very responsive on my unit, but if you hit the select button at an angle, you may get the "back" response by mistake.  But once you select an item, the screens open immediately without delay. So the bulk of the time (which varies based on navigation skill) is spent navigating, not waiting on the player to respond.  You will get a micro USB cable with the unit.  I think the end that connects to the player is the same type that is used by some smart phones.  It is a micro USB connector, but it is not the same one that is used by the iHiFi 960 or Colorfly C3.  The firmware on the 770 is the same as the firmware on the 960, so the navigation is similar for the 2 players.  Although the 770 navigation is not really difficult, it does take some time to get used to.  I personally find the touch buttons on the 960 a bit easier to maneuver.  The 770 is more like the Colorfly C3 when it comes to navigating.  One thing you should do (if you do decide to by the 770) is set the Light time (under Display setting) for at least 10 seconds when you are first getting used to the player, because once the light time elapses, then the player locks and you have to press 2 "buttons" in sequence on the touch screen to open the display back up.  Again, not difficult to do, just a bit frustrating at times.
 
One other way to access individual songs (which I never do this way) is thru the icon screen, you want to select the music symbol and then this immediately goes to a screen that allows you to select "resume play", "all music" or "dir list".  If you select "all music" then the you open a list of all your songs in alphabetical order (screen shows 7 songs at a time), but scrolling is pretty fast with the touch screen.  If you choose "dir list", then this will get you to the screen that offers Flash vs SD card.  I hope this helps.

No worries bro, maybe some of the guys can chime in. I was about to pull the trigger on the 2nd hand dx50 until I read your review and now I cant decide LOL.

The DX50 has both line our and coaxial. That's why I have decided to keep my DX50 instead of selling it. It can also read and play off powered external hdd.

I'm not too sure if the 770 has any Coaxial or digital out.

I need help ......
I can't update the lastest firmware for ihifi 760, its always shown error .....

Which operating system are you using? I found that it only works with XP.
